Swimming Program


The Calala Inn is a family owned business in Tamworth that has built a reputation of providing top class food in a relaxed family environment. The Calala have agreed to partner the NIAS swim program for 2009.

 
Swimming NSW was formed in 1889.  It oversees competitive swimming in the State of NSW and the ACT.Swimming NSW purpose is to operate as an administrative agency of swimming in NSW.  Its mission is to foster, control and develop (i.e. promote organised growth of) swimming in NSW (including the ACT).

Touch Program


Ideally located in the CBD the Services Club has it all. Not only do they have excellent service, a great atmosphere and the friendliest staff in Tamworth, but  also offer great facilities too.  The Tamworth Services Club have been proud sponsors of the NIAS Touch program since 2002

Lonestar Individual Program

 
The Gunnedah Services and Bowling Club is located at the eastern end of the Gunnedah CDB. The club is renown for its friendly and warm service. The Club is a strong and valued supporter of the Academy and haas been sponsoring the Lonestar Individual program since inception in  2002.
 

 Netball Program

A licenced club with great entertainment, great food and great company.  The Armidale City Bowling club welcomes visitors to Armidale situated in the beautiful New England.  The Club is located in Dumaresq Street, only a short walk from the shopping centres of Armidale. The club has been a sponsor of the Netball program since 2005

Carlos IGA Has a number of supermarkets throughout regional NSW. Carlo's have been supporting the NIAS Netball program since 2002

Hockey Program 

 
The Wests Entertainment Group incorporates two of the leading entertainment and function venues in the North and Northwest – Wests and Wests’ Diggers). Both clubs offers suburb services and a wide variety of activites and dining environments. West's have been supporting the Hockey program since its reintroduction into the NIAS in 2003.

Triathlon Program

  

TAFE NSW New England Institute encourages students to try new things and realise their full potential. Our experienced and dedicated teachers take a practical approach to learning, and students choose from a variety of courses to study in a relaxed, friendly learning environment with modern up-to-date training facilities. TAFE NSW New England Institute signed up to assist the Triathlon squad in 2007 and 2008.

Rugby Program

  
Sportspower Armidale has had strong links with the Northern Inland Academy of Sport for a number of years. Sportspower Armidale have in 2009 signed on as the specific partner for the NIAS Rugby program and will also provide discounts to all NIAS athletes to purchase sporting goods via the Armidale store.

Lawn Bowls Program

South Tamworth Bowling Club is the inugural partner for the new NIAS Lawn Bowls Program. From the moment you walk through the front doors, you will be made welcome at the South Tamworth Bowling Club, or the South Bowlo, as they are more affectionately known.
