Regional Academies of Sport, the parent company of the Northern Inland Academy of Sport, is proud to announce our new partnership with Santos. For 70 years, Santos has been working with local communities, providing jobs and business opportunities, safely and sustainability developing natural gas resources, powering industries and households. Santos is committed to making a positive impact on the communities where they operate. This collaboration brings enhanced opportunities to local athletes, ensuring they have the support needed to achieve their full potential. This partnership allows the Academy to support young athletes, foster talent and contribute to local sports growth and development.

Please note that the distribution of scholarship funds will be determined at the discretion of the Regional Academies of Sport Ltd and Santos. Scholarships are available exclusively for current Academy athletes only, and to be used for invoiced Academy programs.
SPORTING EXCELLENCE SCHOLARSHIP
Ideal For: Athletes who demonstrate exceptional skill, commitment, and potential in their respective sports.

- Proven record of excellence in your sport.
- Demonstrated commitment to training and personal development.
- Must be a current 2025/26 Regional Academies of Sport Athlete.
RURAL & REMOTE SCHOLARSHIP
Ideal For: Athletes facing challenges that hinder their training and competition due to their location in rural or remote areas within the NIAS catchment.
Benefits Include:
- Financial Assistance: Support for essential sports expenses like equipment, travel and registration fees.
- Personalised Guidance: Access to mentoring and counselling services to navigate financial and personal challenges.
- Comprehensive Support: Additional resources to ensure continuity in training and development.
Application Criteria:
- Evidence of living in a rural or remote area
- A personal statement outlining the impact of hardship due to your location on your athletic journey.
- Must be a current 2025/26 Northern Inland Academy of Sport Athlete.
