Reflecting on 2024: Celebrating Success and Looking Ahead to 2025
As 2024 draws to a close, it’s an ideal time to reflect on a remarkable year for the Northern Inland Academy of Sport. This year has been filled with achievements, milestones, and strengthened partnerships, alongside challenges that have further cemented NIAS’s role as a leader in regional youth athlete development and pathways.
NIAS and Whitehaven Coal Unite to Support the Regions’ Talented Athletes and Coaches
The Northern Inland Academy of Sport (NIAS) is excited to announce its new partnership with Whitehaven Coal and looks forward to the opportunities this partnership will bring to the region. With similar geographic footprints, this united front was initiated to support the region’s talented athletes and coaches from the Northern Inland, creating more pathways for regional communities to thrive in sport, on and off the field.
NIAS Induction Day Kicks Off a Successful Start to the 2024-2025 Season
The NIAS Induction Day, held on Sunday, 10 November at Lake Keepit, marked the beginning of an exciting new season for the Northern Inland Academy of Sport (NIAS).
The event brought together athletes, coaches, and families from across the region to celebrate the induction of the next cohort of aspiring young athletes.
